We're developing a remote patient monitoring system to help chronic people with cardiovascular and respiratory diseases using machine learning and the electromedicine of the future.

Integrated Systems Design and Development S.L. is the digital medicine company behind the brand VidaApp, and the startup mission is to manufacture VidaApp cardiopulmonary patch which integrates a remote multiple sensor for cardiovascular and respiratory health monitoring. This new medical device includes a 360º view of the heart (12-lead ECG) and a powerful digital signal processor with built-in artificial neural networks for bio signals pattern recognition.

Our overall concept is based in a sensing system and a remote patient monitoring platform.

THE SOLUTION: HOME/AMBULATORY SENSING SYSTEM
VidaAppPatch monitors the cardiovascular and respiratory health for chronic people with cardiovascular and respiratory diseases. Integrates a powerful pattern recognition system with 12-lead ECG meaning a complete view of the heart. It senses also reflective pulseoximetry, impendance pneumography, contact-less temperature, motility system (6-axis accelerometer+gyroscope, GPS). Has medication reminders, panic button. Blueotooh 5. Optional NBIoT / LTE (4G). The Patch is resistant to dust and water (IP67) and has built-in pattern recognition. THE SOLUTION: REMOTE MONITORING PLATFORM
DATA TRANSMISSION: Safe and reliable data transmission with a minimum of dropouts. Open standards (Bluetooth LE, Wi-Fi, 3G). Compliant with safety regulations (electrical safety, EM radiation). Compliant with HL7 international standards for transfer of clinical data from patient device to hospital server. End to end data encryption. Compliant with GDPR and HIPAA regarding data protection.

ARTEFACT REJECTION SYSTEM: Helps to prevent false alarms and ‘alarm fatigue’ in care givers from the need to check the patient repeatedly on spurious readings. Motility system with advance algorithms (fall detection, anatomic position, geofencing).

ANALYSIS SYSTEM: Intelligent analysis of the incoming vital signs data streams. Analysis of trends and rates of change. Pattern analysis in multiple simultaneous data streams. Generation of probabilistic alarms. Use of artificial neural networks supervised learning, IA.
