The forum is a day-long event that aims to discover entrepreneurs whose innovations, approaches, and practices improve access and outcomes for those who are underserved by the current educational system. The forum consists of two main components: (1) entrepreneur engagement and (2) an investor-facing Pitchfest.

Entrepreneur Engagement
Village Capital will host several sessions for participating ventures, including a lunchtime key-note on regional education challenges, a sneak peek of Village Capital’s award-winning curriculum, and one-on-one time with industry-leading mentors.

Pitchfest
Following the curricular activities, VilCap will host a Pitchfest and Happy Hour for participating ventures and the local investor community. After the pitches, the top peer-selected venture will receive $1,000 in grant prize money and a fast-track to the semi-final round of the Village Capital Education: LatAm 2016 program.

**Application Deadline is August 28th**
All education ventures are welcome to apply. Priority will be given to companies with geographic connections to Bogotá.
