Village Capital is a seed-stage impact investment fund that identifies, trains and invests in high-growth, high-impact companies across the globe. VilCap Mexico: FinTech 2014 is the premier accelerator program for startup ventures promoting financial inclusion in Mexico and the surrounding region.

The program consists of three, 4-day in-person workshops focused on training entrepreneurs to assume an "investor lens,” with coaching from and engagement with successful serial entrepreneurs, investors, potential customers and industry experts. The program culminates in a Demo Day (Investor Forum) where each company will present to a group of investors.

The program includes $100k in pre-committed investment for the top two start-ups ($50k each). The top two ventures will be selected by the entrepreneurs themselves through a transparent peer-review and ranking process. The accelerator will launch in February 2015.

Session 1: February 15-18
Session 2: March 25-28
Session 3: April 22-25

While only 2 companies are guaranteed investment,
- 96% of more than 400 graduates recommend the program to a peer
- On average, 50% of companies not peer-selected have received funding from an investor they met at a Village Capital workshop.
- 80% of participants received investment within 12 months of completing the program
- Alumni have experienced a 4.5x increase in revenue growth and added 3.5 more jobs than a control group of semi-finalists, not selected to participate.
