Pamela, that is wonderful. we are actually exploring a school-based pilot, helping school nurses extend their reach, in simplest terms, we are asynchronous telemdicine augmenting both in-person care and synchronous telecare.

Current teletherapy in this space is Educational based speech and OT, which is a special education mandated service paid for by schools, not health insurance, with a little complicated pass back retro funding from Medicaid in the schools for the medically eligible. school-based health centers/clinics are a whole new market. Some asynch, supplementing sync telecare makes sense. We do now by email and media attachments now, but the asynch isn't a billable service, just a value-added and good medicine!
