Virtual Reality Training Systems is introducing a platform consisting of electronic hardware and software (apps that run on tablets or phones) that integrate with home fitness equipment to encourage exercising at home or in the gym by providing an environment that closely mimics real life training outdoors. We have developed a functioning prototype (both electronic hardware and apps for tablet/phone) and are looking to build manufacturing and sales of these products. The company will initially sell products to add on to existing home equipment (exercise bikes, treadmills and rowing machines) and will then incorporate the system into its own line of exercise equipment or will OEM to manufacturers of home gym equipment . The company is seeking to leverage the rise in electronic fitness monitoring and extend on this by allowing the user to record and replay their own exercise experiences and use these to train against. Future improvements will allow users to compete against others around the globe and will allow exercise videos to be shared and downloaded from a central site. This will allow "virtual tourism" to other locations which will stimulate interest in exercise. The "record app" will allow the use of an action camera (e.g. GoPro Hero line) to record a bike ride (for example) and then the "playback app" will allow the user to exercise to this video. The key advantages of the platform is that the software tracks performance, provides encouragement and replays the video at a speed proportional to that in "real life". We are building an app that will allow users to video their own courses for training and share these with others. We are building a website that will allow exchange of videos between users. Videos will be rated so a user can decide which course to use. Results on a specific course will be tracked by user so users can compare their performance against others. All of this information will be available on the website and through the apps.
