Werbie, LLC is developing the GlucoseMama Diabetes Assistance System, an FDA-approved mobile health software device as a form of Mobile Prescription Therapy prescribed by doctors to help healthcare systems and insurers cut the costs and complications of gestational diabetes and pre-existing diabetes in pregnancy. We are currently in clinical trials with the University of Maryland School of Medicine, funded by the Maryland Industrial Partnership (MIPS; $100K). The study is entitled: "Improving Glucose Control in GDM Patients Using GlucoseMama." Our Fast Track SBIR grant was submitted on January 5, 2017, to the NIH. Should the grant be awarded, our academic partners will be Women's Health Specialists of St. Louis (Phase I and II), University of Maryland School of Medicine, UCLA Center for Digital Behavior, and ElevateU (Phase II)....
